Dr. Regiani has not placed a silver-colored Mercury amalgam filling since February 1981, when he took the first of many courses on the materials used in dentistry. The class was on cell morphology, and he saw first-hand the way live cells react to dental mercury. Back then, there weren’t nearly as many choices in filling materials as there are today. Dr Regiani became one of the pioneers in his field.

Now thanks to modern technology there are healthier, more natural looking and more biocompatible alternative filling materials instead of old-fashioned silver-colored Mercury fillings.

No mercury; for many of our patient guests this is one of the major reasons they come to our office. We offer safer, more biocompatible options that do not require the use of mercury or silver or a host of components that make up a traditional mercury (silver-colored) amalgam filling.
