Just a few notes about myself. I was recently treated for Vertigo,dizziness and constant ringing in the ears. A year has passed and i am still looking for probable reason why i got this. I am a very active person who eats very well,drinks socially. I live a low stress lifestyle. I have no reason fot getting this . however i have a mouth full of Mercury!

My mouth has many mercury fillings that I suspect may be the cause for the tinnitus (ear ringing)that I have suffered with for approximately twenty years. It seems to be getting worse as I age.

I am a sixty-six year old male. I am on Medicare with a Blue Cross Blue Shield Advantage Plan. I live in Aiken, SC which is very close to Augusta, GA.

I am hoping that someone on this site will refer me to a qualified dentist who will safely remove my mercury fillings and replace them with composite fillings at a reasonable price.

Have you located a dentist to remove your mercury fililngs yet? I believe this should be your first step and have heard of several cases where removing silver fillings reduced or eliminated the ear ringing which patients had lived with for years.

If you are still looking for a dentist how far are you willing to drive? We can recommend quite a number in Atlanta or Greenville SC. The only one closer to you that we are aware of is Dr. Don D.
